The 'Lost' Update - Joined Up Health in Primary Care
Now approved by the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine, this Course was originally created as a collaboration with Wessex LMCs to provide “CPD with a difference” for GPs. It is suitable for all primary care professionals particularly those dealing with complex, chronic and functional disease. The course is grounded by carefully considering how we - patients and practitioners - think and feel about the key determinants of health and recovery.
What others say...
"Most CPD provides us with 'bricks', this course gives us 'mortar'"
GP from October 2019 Course
“A wide array of thoroughly researched information presented eloquently and with good humour. The group was encouraged to be very dynamic. I came away feeling refreshed both for myself and also with increased enthusiasm and some new insight and tools” GP from January 2019 Course

'Depression? There is Hope!'
This three-hour course for GPs examines our current approaches to depression, introduces learners to the innate needs and resources model and an integrated, up-to-date model of brain function, explains the two main vicious cycles of depression, and ends with series options for helping patients recover more quickly, and consultations flow more hopefully. This course has been generously funded through the Human Givens Foundation at the request of a family bereaved of a daughter through depression.
