TERMS and CONDITIONS

Participation in Educational Events

We aim to create an enjoyable and rich learning environment with our delegates, as a group of supportive colleagues sharing our experience and learning needs.  The quality and accuracy of the formal content, and the course facilitation of JoinedUpHealth courses are provided to the best of our ability.

Delegates are invited to participate in a spirit of honest and respectful communication, to consider contributions made by speaker/s and delegates fairly, and be prepared to make their own contributions in a constructive manner. Delegates are expected to treat information shared by others with due respect for privacy and confidentiality, and specific clinical or workplace scenarios must be discussed in a way that protects the privacy and confidentiality of patients, clients and colleagues.

In the very unlikely event that a course leader concludes that a delegate is significantly impeding the learning or participation of others, we reserve the right to constructively feed this back to the delegate/s concerned, and if the situation remains unimproved to ask them to leave the course.

Intellectual property

By booking your place on a course you agree not to circulate web-links, videos and resources intended solely for colleagues attending our courses.  Open access resources are those accessible through the menus on the www.joineduphealth.net website. We expect as fellow professionals that when using these resources in your work will always direct patients to, or print/download directly from the relevant links on either www.joineduphealth.net or www.mendiphealthconnections.org.

Clinical Responsibility

The materials, training and courses provided by JoinedUpHealth are used by delegates under their own individual clinical responsibility. Neither JoinedUpHealth Limited nor its employees or trainers can accept responsibility for delegates’ actions, or those of other people reading the course notes or interpreting the training, nor responsibility for any loss incurred as a result of relying on the course content or the accompanying notes and resources.

We have arrangements with various membership organisations (such as BSLM), local education providers (like Wessex LMCs) and provider networks (such as Mendip PCNs) to make places available at discounted rates (including 100% discounts to on bookings where the course has been funded). We reserve the right to check that discounts were claimed by members of the relevant organisations or teams and will communicate with you if we beleive your booking is not eligible for the discount. S

Payment

Delegate Course Fees, including any additional transfer charges, are due in full prior to the course taking place. In the event of late payment we reserve the right to charge interest on outstanding invoices at the rate of 5% per calendar month.

For courses where the content is provided by JoinedUpHealth and the organisation and bookings are undertaken by your organisation, payment of the speaker fee and agreed expenses are payable within a week of invoicing.
